The Information Systems Society (ISS), being one of the most active clubs on the campus, brings you “Unitech 2008”. Owing to the success of the two previous editions held (11,500 visitors in Unitech 2007), we bring you another promising edition of Unitech.
Unitech 2008 will be held from Tuesday 18th to Friday 21st March 2008 at the Paul Octave Wiehe auditorium.
The Opening Ceremony will take place on 18th March 2008 from 1800 to 22 00 and the exhibition will be open to the public over three days from Wednesday 19th to Friday 21st March 2008 as from 09 30 to 16 00.
Unitech 2008 will comprise of the following:
- An Exhibition for exhibitors to showcase their products and services.
- A Job Space, to facilitate recruitment in the ICT Sector
- Technical / Product Demo Conferences
- A Platform for sales of the newest products.
Unitech 2008 is being organized in order to provide information on developments and achievements in the ICT sector in Mauritius as well as create awareness on and spread emerging technologies. Furthermore, the aim of including a Job space in Unitech is to sensitize on career opportunities in the ICT sector.
